Vaiente High School Play Promises Entertaining Friday
The Opera House will be packed for the commencement exercises of Vaiente High School with a senior class play titled The Meryleu Date. Cast includes Ports, Antonio, Portia plus a long list of roles and acts set from a street scene to a football field. The production notes range from Shylock to Portia and ends with thanks from Mr. and Mrs. W. High for community support after a bereavement.

Senior Week Events Highlight Payette High School Activities
Last Friday and the following days Payette High School hosted a series of Senior Week events. Seniors and faculty enjoyed lawn party games, three course banquets, and receptions in Gorton Hall and the Y M C A rooms with refreshments and decorations in class colors. Obituary: Marion Puresti of Ida ho Dies at 71
Marion Puresti died at his home in Ida ho on May 6 1990 from cancer after years of illness. Born May 15 1930 in Potlam County Indiana he lived in Iowa before settling near Woodbine. He moved to Payette in 1899 and later owned town property. his funeral was held May 7 at the Christian church with burial in Riverside cemetery.
