The Rebekah District meeting on February 26 drew fifty eight attendees and lively debate. Sewer Work Under Way In Payette District One
The first of this week two cars of sewer pipe were received by Lardwon and Co of Butte Montana contractors awarded the work of constructing the sewer in sewer district No 1. Over five hundred feet of sewer is in the ground at the outlet point and work will proceed rapidly. Next Thursday night the council meets and the ordinance covering the district for the west side comes up for final passage. The ordinance will be published and bids called for. This will lead to a complete city sewer system for Payette.

Death of Clara Soule Affected Town Community
Miss Clara Marion Soule died March 1 after an appendicitis operation in her city home. Born July 26 1896 in Rowland South Carolina she was the only child of Mr and Mrs A B Soule. Funeral services were at the Christian church with Masonic and community honors, interment at Riverside cemetery shared by schoolmates and local organizations.
