Wreck of the Pony near Arcadia Injures Eighteen
A west bound Pony ran into a freight engine at Arcadia causing the passenger train to derail and injuring eighteen people. The two most seriously hurt were the Pony engineer and Henry Asmussen of Payette. They were taken to Boise for treatment. the engineer died. Names from Payette include G. R. Williams J. H. Weider L. V. Pateh Henry Asmusten and Tim Driscoll.

Once boundaries are set the council will publish an ordinance creating the district and calling remonstrances. Bond voting will be submitted to the public soon.
