Business Men Visit Payette Valley Orchard Tract on Special Train

Two hundred business men from Payette Fruitland and New Plymouth toured the Payette Valley Land and Orchard Company tract of 720 acres near New Plymouth. They viewed water supply pumping and irrigation systems, toured the power plant, and ended with a banquet and speeches praising the project and its future fruit production.

Big Plant Construction Crew Arrives to Water Land

Large number of horses and scrapers arrive in Payette and cross the Snake River to Dead Ox Flat to begin building the big plant by the Snow Moody Development Company. The project will irrigation six thousand acres, bringing a fruitful spring yield of fruit grain and hay within three to four miles of Payette.

M. P. Albert of the Flist National Bank and A. P. Schlehfeld of the Payette National Bank were town visitors on Thursday for Bull Lake. Miss Jnne Gordon, a bookkeeper at the Enterprise Printing Office, planned a Monday evening trip. The following people rode the special train Thursday evening to the coast.
