Local residents Mrs. Etta Crawford Mrs. Clara Weinsman and Mrs. Florence Ticknor attended a get acquainted meeting for telephone company managers and operators at Hotel Hayes in Centralia on Wednesday October 19. The Bell Telephone Company planned the event with nearby independents invited as guests to discuss switchboard problems and improve service.
