Illinois Central trains staff to improve telephone practices
The Illinois Central Railroad launches a telephone practice training program for more than 50 instruction leaders who will train others. Beginning May 28, classes will reach all public‑facing employees by June 30 with instruction from Illinois Bell representatives. President Wayne A Johnston emphasizes cordial, helpful phone interaction to reflect the railroad’s service. Drive carefully.
