A local announcement reports Miss Irene Hopkins and Mr. Bert Walker wed last Saturday evening February 15 at the M E Church Study with Rev Foltz officiating. Attendants were Mr and Mrs Harold Simcox and supper was at Prices. The couple plan to reside in Detroit pending final decision.

A meeting of the Egyptian Conference personnel is called here Saturday. A matter raised earlier about St. Elmo transferring a game to Vandalia will be heard. The game was scheduled at St. Elmo and played at Vandalia. Eligibility of the game is in question.

News reached Champaign late Thursday of the death of Mrs Clem Doolen in New Jersey. Relatives await further details as the death is reported to have occurred about midnight Wednesday night. She was the wife of Clem Doolen and the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Wilson of Iowa.
