Barn Destroyed by Fire on John Oye Farm
Last Monday night the barn on the John Oye farm west of town burned around 3 o'clock. The cause is unknown. Mr Dwight Ballance and family lost their crops of hay and grains and one cow. Neighbors brought hay grain and a collection of currenty the following day and helped erect a shed.
