Northern Manitoba college expands training with Dental Auxiliaries and LPN programs
Twelve students begin the new Dental Auxiliaries course on March 5 to serve Northern Manitoba, once a reduced field. The college plans an LPN course next fall to address northward nursing shortages, with practical training at St Anthony's Hospital and remaining months on campus. Also reported: dozens of apprentices finish segments, more arrive for eight weeks of training, and a clerk typist course will graduate later this month. Mrs. Sandra Gardiner named Student Counsellor to guide course selection and student welfare. Market notes show price shifts for fish products in local markets.
