The Pas Guides held a fudge sale in aid of Betty Ann. Attendees enjoyed a pleasant evening with a hike, a lunch of hot dogs and drinks, and warm thanks to Capt Bod for their efforts. Rosalind Ridings received a chain case from 2nd Co.
Community seeks rides for a wind-up party at Clearwater Lake. Call Mrs. Lundy at 3-2793. Eight girls had 4-H books rejudged and won blue ribbons. Shelley Meadwell and Diane Gourlay enter demonstrations at Dauphin Fair July 14 and Swan River July 26. Connie and Gail Rockney to demonstrate at Swan River July 26.
Recreational Director Larry Hodkinson urged improved programs and more volunteers at the noon Pas Rotary Club meeting last Wednesday. He noted parents can assist the community by volunteering with their children in the program now in its third year. The Mid-West Shows come this Friday and Saturday with hot dogs and hamburgers for sale and a variety of rides and concessions at the exhibition ground west of Town. John Karpan of the Pas Recreation Commission attended as a guest.
