Oklahoma! cast switches to Broadway excerpts after illness
The Vincent Massey Collegiate Glee Club group from Winnipeg planned Oklahoma! at M.B.C.I. but a lead singer fell ill five minutes before showtime. They delivered a polished program of excerpts from The Boyfriend, South Pacific, Showboat, Guys and Dolls, Carousel, and Cabaret. The crowd of about 100 enjoyed the lively sequence and humor.
