The Pas Rodeo Sets Stage for 1972 Beefs and Ribbons
The Pas Rodeo in 1972 featured Salmond and Profit winners across chariot racing, pole and barrel events, calf scramble, and wagon races. Notable wins included Ray and Wayne Salmond in Ben Hur and chariot races, Mar yAnn Toma leading Western Saddle, and Gary Lagimodiere in Musical Tires. A local beef barbecue, raffle for a 1000 pound steer, and Kinsmen clown acts capped a successful event with plans for an even bigger next year.
