Community Plans for Crisis Centre in The Pas
The Pas civic groups outline a fall opening for a Crisis Centre with a volunteer base of 40 by September for telephone support and counseling. They seek Indian and under-25 volunteers, plan training in September, and aim to staff Friday and Saturday evenings with diverse counselors. A Group Home for eight boys is nearing reality, seeking board members, financial supporters, or prospective houseparents to keep youths in the community.
