The Pas J.R. Corp trailer park deal under review
An agreement between The Town of The Pas and J.R. Corporation for trailer park fees and taxes expired December 31 1972 and may continue under original terms unless notice to change is served. The Pas Indian Band Council is not party to the agreement, which is with Her Majesty via the Indian Affairs Branch, while the I.R. Corporation seeks direct tax and fee terms. In late 1972 and into 1973 both sides discussed forming an Industrial Park and potential new trailer court plans, amid strains in Ottawa The Pas negotiations.
