Parowan Elementary Kids Host Halloween Parade on Main Street
Parowan Elementary students and teachers plan a four block costume parade along Main Street Friday October 29 starting at 11 from the school to the Post Office and back. Parents and younger siblings are invited to wear costumes join the procession and view a film in the school auditorium afterward. Funeral services for Carlisle Benson Hoyle 56 of Seattle Washington were held in Parowan Third Ward under Bishop Howard M Adams. Hoyle a former Parowan resident died Saturday in a Seattle hospital of a heart condition and cerebral hemorrhage. Speakers included W Clair Rowley and J Harold Mitchell of the Parowan Stake Presidency. Music featured were The Deepening Trials A Day Oh My Father and Oh My Father with local singers and piano accompaniment. Benediction ended the rites.
