Parowan City council approved a contract with Dixie Power Company allowing emergency power purchases at two cents per kilowatt and surplus power sales to the city at three tenths of a cent per kilowatt. Court completes work of session in May term

Roy Mitchell Buried With Military Honors
World War veteran LeRoy Mitchell died last Friday from burns and was buried with full military honors Monday afternoon. The funeral was held in the West Ward chapel led by Bishop I L Adams, with a color guard from American Legion Post No 26 and Legion auxiliary ladies. A twenty four gun salute and taps marked the ceremony, with speeches by Jarrell Dalton John Stevens Leonard Thenam and Scott M Matheson.
