Little Lavanna Rex Ward Dies After Illness

Club builds lake cabin and habitat plan at Panguiteh Lake
Gun and Red Club officers discussed using club funds to build a cabin at Panguiteh Lake for members. The shelter will store gear and provide a simple, functional space. Mrs Fannie Warrington Dies in Phoenix
Special to the Tymea Mrs ER EL Anderson returned from Phoenix after attending the funeral of Mrs Fanny Gould Warrington. She died April 20 2018 at 5 a m funeral held April 28 in Phoenix with relatives from Los Angeles Cedar City Triverside San Diego Geronimo and Phoenix in attendance. Warrington born October 3 1885 in Parowan spent early life there and moved to Phoenix nearly five years ago. Local men who sheared sheep at Blackrock returned early this week including Donald Enoch Wimmer Mortensen Frank Alber Robert Stevens Alma Benson Kilmer Gurr and Lyle Applegate. John Mortensen transported them home.

Bootleggers Fined and Jailed in Cedar Precinct Case
Ted Grown and Ted Canning pleaded guilty in Justice Leighs court to possession of liquor. Each received a $50 fine and ten days in jail. If fines are unpaid, one day in jail per dollar. They were lodged in the county jail after transfer by the sheriff. Canning had been under suspicion for liquor trafficking between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Authorities stopped him in Cedar last Friday, recovered evidence from his car, and charged him with illicit liquor transport. Grown was searched by the sheriff’s party and a few pints were seized.
