Funeral Services For Mrs Louise Warren Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs Harriet Louise Orton Warren 77 will be held Saturday at 2 pm in Parowan West Ward Chapel. She died Wednesday evening at home in Parowan after a several week illness. She was born December 12, 1872, daughter of Sidney and Salena Orton. She married Joseph A. Warren March 19, 1892 in Parowan. he died in 1926. The couple farmed Parowan Valley nearly 30 years before moving to town. Nine of eleven children survive and include Joseph Edward, Eugene Warren, Mead Warren, Maude Jaomeron, Hilda Davis, Zelda Burtis, Edith Wilms, Laura Covington, Lenora Alger. Twenty-six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. One sister Mrs Mary Mitchell also survivess. Family hours Saturday from 10 am. Burial in Parowan City Cemetery, under Southern Utah Mortuary.

Father Of Parowan Lady Dies In Panguitch

Funeral services for Fielding Burnie Trote 73 who died Tuesday in Panguitch Hospital were held at Panguitch North ward. Born January 1 1877 in Panguitch he was son of Tutiel F and Susann Ellen Burhes Tebbs. He was a livestockman and elder in the LDS Church. Surviving are wife, five sons and daughters, four brothers and 18 grandchildren.

Death of Glenna Ward in Salt Lake City Hospital

Mrs. Glenna Marsden Ward aged 47 of 1821 Harvard Ave Salt Lake City died at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the LDS Hospital from kidney nephritis and heart involvement after several months illness. Survived by husband Rex C Ward two sons and a daughter all of Salt Lake City, mother Mary Marsden Parowan, and brothers Milo Marsden Salt Lake City and State Senator U N Marsden Cedar City. Funeral slated Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in the Yoleverest Ward Chapel Salt Lake City Cemetery burial follows.

Parowan Students Win Honors At BYU

Parowan students Ralph Benson and Grace Elaine Guymon received BYU honors for service to the university. Benson earned the ruby wreath for surpassing 80 service points while Guymon, editor of the Banyon B. A. yearbook, received the Toby Pie award for dedicated campus service. Grace is a daughter of the Jesse Guymons and Ralph a son of Roy Benson.
