Paro farmer found lying unconscious near Edgar Benson town after a long night search. He was taken to Iron County Hospital where doctors report exposure and possible sun stroke or other injury. Family guided by local volunteers and fire siren responders continued bedside vigil as condition slowly improves.

Mitchell Reunion Draws Large Crowd Across Three Days
Nearly two hundred relatives gathered at Parowan for the Mitchell family reunion held July 1 2 and 3. Attendees spanned Parowan and nearby towns with members from Provo Ogden Cedar City Spanish Fork and Fort Ord California joining Walter C Mitchells Parowan group and others from Salt Lake City Levan and Pleasant Grove. The large turnout included many grandchildren and extended family, and the note at the end indicates the event continued on the back page.

Local Carpenters Attend Union Meeting in Kinnab
Several local carpenter couples attended the Local 489 heli union meeting in Kinnab last Saturday evening.
