Adult Education Classes Planned for Parowan and Paragonah
Parowan and Paragonah residents are offered adult education classes this winter. If enough interest is shown, sessions will run from January through March, sponsored by the local Adult Education Committee with state support and county education cooperation. A restoration event Thursday for eleven or twelve ladies invites late applicants through the Chamber of Commerce sponsors.

A large attendance filled the Parowan stake fete Monday evening at the Parowan First-Second Ward Church. Local officials and Lake area members organized the event with entertainment by performers and free meals. Parowan received moisture after a storm system rolled through Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The moisture included two inches of new snow and nineteen inches of sleet, easing a long drought but forecasting a harsh late winter season for livestock and farming in the area.
