Impressive Funeral Services Held For Prominent Mother
Funeral services were held Monday December 16 for Mrs. Almeven H. Orton of Parowan Utah after a long illness. Born April 6 1905 she graduated Parowan High School in 1924 and Cedar City Branch Agriculture College. She later taught domestic science and art at Parowan High School and raised three children with her husband Almon H. Orton. Survived by her husband, three children, her mother Mrs Elizabeth Day Lyman and siblings Agatha D Lunt Alberta D Morris W Scott Day Lauriel D White.

Funeral services for Dr Frank J Burton a Parowan physician and obstetrician will be held Saturday at 2 PM at East Ward Chapel. He died December 17 at his Parowan home after age related causes. Survived by Ida Orton his wife Betty Burton Wiltsey daughter Miriam Moore son Charles Burton four grandchildren and one great grandchild. The first wife Minnie Adams is living with their two children.
