Parowan Canyon to Get Additional 3 Miles of Oil
Sheridan Flack, Utah State Road Commission district engineer, said oiling in Parowan Canyon will wait until spring 1948 after grading and drainage work to ready the road. A meeting with Parowan citizens is scheduled to discuss the canyon’s highway future and routes, with an intensive survey planned beyond the second left hand junction to the head of the main canyon.
