April term opens in Fifth Judicial District Court session
The April term of the Fifth Judicial District Court convened with a long calendar of criminal civil and probate cases. Judge Erickson presides with Judge Knox assisting. numerous attorneys attend as jurors are sworn in and proceedings begin including divorce rulings and citizenship grants.

The week closed with a successful program by the music department under Mr. Durham and a high quality graduation event. Sixteen graduates received diplomas as Superintendent Lewis lauded community support and praised rotational training at Parowan High. Awards went to top debaters and athletes, with teachers mostly offered reemployment and plans for summer study by Mr. Pymm.
