The Farm Bureau backed playground work with a sturdy set of swings slides and teeters now open for children. John Brown and Henry Mitchell lead the committee with local volunteers painting and organizing while future additions include a Giant Stride.
Local residents report visits from Berdette Eyre and Elia Robinson to Parowan, while Jess Lowder digs land on the ridge for corn prospects. Beile and Ada Mitchell return from Toquerville after teaching, with a pool plunge at LaVerkin warm springs. The Dixie opera incident prompts a missing bag alert. At the regular meeting all council members were present. In the Fifth Judicial District Court of Utah Iron County creditors must present claims with vouchers to Net a Bayles at her Parowan residence or by mail on or before September 5 1921. Dated May 4 1921.
Mr and Mrs James Fisher of Rush Lake departed Monday for a month visit at their former Michigan home. On returning they will be joined by their widowed daughter and her family who plan to move to Utah and establish a home.
Paragonah resident Benjamin W. Watts of Aurora Utah is visiting for a few days. Lucy Williamson travels to Milford to stay with her daughter for a month. An operetta by school children delighted attendees under Principal Dalley. Funeral in Cedar drew Mr and Mrs Richard A Robinson and Mrs Alice é McBride. Mrs Wm Barton returns from Garfield after three weeks with daughter Gwen Burt. Alina and Otta Barton visit, returning from Panguitch where they lived last winter.
Public meeting tonight at 8 p m in the Library Auditorium under the Parowan Gun and Red Club to discuss building a good Auto Road to Cedar Breaks. The notice urges attendance due to the matter's vital importance.

The Cedar public school closed last Friday and the Eighth Grade graduation with 53 students and honors. Socials and visits fill the week with entertainments hosted by Mrs. Jennie Thomas Mrs. Frank Thorley Mrs. W E Corry and others. Mrs. Andrew Corry’s funeral Sunday honors a well respected local figure.
J. F. Johnson surveyed Parowan on sanitary conditions meeting with the mayor and authorities. He aims to clean up the town with a state plan to prosecute health law violators and to order clean fly proof corrals and outside privies. Johnson inspected hotels slaughter houses barber shops and meat markets during the visit.
Miss Golda Gurr is installed as a sales lady at the Wm. H. Gurr store marking a change in staff and presenting a new sales associate for shoppers.
Jas Canfield recovers from a fall from a horse while Milton Barnum has fully recovered from an accident. New births announced for Louis Bastian and Walter Winsor families. A gravel pit opened for the new school house and students from 7th and 8th grades rode to the Reservoir for lunch and boating. Helt's school reports a pleasant Flat Top lunch outing.
