Leland Heywood to Retire From Forest Service
Leland D Heywood, Assistant Supervisor of the Dixie National Forest, will retire effective May 4 1957 after more than 38 years of service. He started May 1 1919 in Old Sevier Forest and rose through Fishlake LaSal Uintah Dixie to assist supervisor Albertson, contributing to timber, recreation, range reseeding and road work. He plans to live in Cedar City with Mrs Heywood.
