Life History of Christian Tueller Continues
The narrative follows Christian Tueller of Paris from Switzerland to America. Raised by two missionary women in Richfield, he learns English and adapts to American life. In 1881 he travels with Daniel Seegmiller to Arizona to work on the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad under John W Young, facing perilous mountain roads and a woolen mill project at Moon Campi.

He then towed a horse across, aided by later water-haul tasks and grade work at Diablo Canyon. Tueiler earned $2.50 daily plus board from late 1881 to spring 1882.
