The 1963 Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot runs Sept 10–14 with free afternoon admission for children on opening day and reduced adult prices. Laketown Man Dies After Cow Attack Injuries
Farrell Johnson of Laketown died at Ogden L.D.S. hospital from injuries after being attacked by a one eyed cow at a Logan yard two weeks earlier. He was born in Meadowville Rich county and survived by a wife, two daughters, three sons, and three siblings. Funeral arrangements were not yet set.

A minimum of one copy of all government publications will be made available in printed or microfilm form, and the library will provide interlibrary loan and reference service for the state and region. Funeral Services for R. R. Stevens Held in Paris
Rayford Roswell Stevens 70 native of Bloomington died of a heart attack August 31 at his son’s home in Smithfield Utah. He lived in Bloomington and Paris, worked at Union Pacific shops, raised cattle, and was a high priest in the LDS Church. Survived by wife Verona May Dunford and five children, 22 grandchildren. Interment Bloomington Cemetery with services at Paris Wards chapel.

Van Ness Wallentine Recovering From Saddle Horse Injuries
Former Bear Lake county rancher Van Ness Wallentine is slowly improving after a round-up accident near Grays Lake 45 miles north of Soda Springs. He was hospitalized with a fractured shoulder and six broken ribs after being kicked by a horse on August 21.
