Emerson School Opens Sept 8 for 1931 32 Term
Emerson school will begin its 1931 32 season on Tuesday September 8 and run nine months as before. Principal E W Stucki leads a staff including Amos Hulme Rulon Tueller Mabel Stucki Zula Cole Phoebe Rich Mona Athay Ella Smedley Irwin Jensen and Beatrice Price. Classes planned, enrollment expected to rise. A Spirit Lake Tone game was halted by a forest fire spreading toward Panhandle Lumber Company plants but was contained with limited damage.
