Classes begin the next day with church history as the sole course this year, followed by new and old testament history in subsequent years. Miss Clara Puthman a public health nurse connected with the Ida ho State Anti Tuberculosis Assn and engaged by Bear Lake County Anti Tuberculosis Assn arrived this week and began a health campaign for pre school and school age children. She held clinics in St Charles Fish Haven Bloomington Paris Liberty Ovid and Lanark and will examine pupils next week.
Paul G Redington chief of the biology survey and M P Bailey state game warden announce October will be the only month to hunt ducks. Hunting starts at noon October 1 and the aim is to limit slaughter to protect teams and birds.

Report from Paris says Herman Faulkenburg of Montpelier, a leading architect, drowned in the Snake River in lower Star Valley Wyoming. His body was not yet recovered as friends searching after breakfast found his clothes and learned he did not return from a swim.
During the 1930 campaign in Cache National Forest near Paris 17600 trees were treated and 9000 were burned to combat the beetle infestation. The operation covered larger areas than prior years with a near complete clean-up in several canyons. Supervisor Carl B. Arentson expects another campaign to nearly eliminate the beetle attack.
F E Thompson reported 28 buck deer seen between Mink Creek and Emigration Canyon summit while passing through at night. The deer descended from higher mountains to a watering trough by the highway and appeared unafraid to observers.
