Negligent Homicide Charge Filed in Denver Deaths
Bennie J. Jacobson is charged with negligent homicide in the deaths of Charles and Marie Geary of Denver. A Caribou County grand jury found the deaths resulted from a car traveled on the wrong side of the road. The complaint was filed Wednesday with a warrant issued and Jacobson to appear for a preliminary hearing in Soda Springs.

The annual M I A Institute gathering bringing Bannock Idaho Franklin Montpelier Oneida Star Valley Bear Lake Stakes took place at St Charles last Saturday October 19. About 300 delegates and visitors attended. Nineteen M I A general board members including David L King and Emily H Bennett were present to oversee departments. Snake River Canyon Highway Opens After Construction
The Wyoming Highway Department reports no travel restrictions through the Snake River canyon as the four mile rugged project is completed. Detours were not possible during work and the open road provides a view of the Tetons and Jackson Hole scenery, marking a traffic drop of about 10 percent this September year over year.
