Economists say 1962 will bring stronger general business and higher farm production returns in Idaho. Cash receipts from livestock and dairying may rise, grain prices could lift with increased production, but per capita dairy consumption is sliding and dairy prices face inflationary pressure. If milk consumption falls and cow yields rise, fewer cows may be needed in the coming decade.
