Teacher Keetch to Lead Dingle Kindergarten Start January
Mrs Glenda Keetch of Dingle will teach the kindergarten sponsored by Emerson PTA. The program starts January 2 1968 for four months with four months term and includes meeting arrangements before Christmas chaired by Anne Matthews. The Rainbow Rod and Gun Club also schedules a regular meeting and wildlife film at the clubhouse October 12 at 8 PM.

Beck promoted to Specialist Five in Army
Jerry L. Beck son of Mr and Mrs Junior Beck of Paris promoted to Specialist Five on September 19. He graduated Fielding High School Class of 1965 and joined the Army October 25, 1965. He trained at Fort Ord and Fort Belvoir, served a year in Vietnam with the 508th and 213th Engineering Detachments, and is now with the 615th Engineering Company at Fort Carson Colorado.

Elections last week at Bear Lake Junior High and Emerson named Glenn Wright and Curtis Stucki as presidents. Milo Brooker 67 died in Evanston Wyoming with services held last Saturday. He was born June 29 1900 in Woodruff Utah and survived by a large blended family and several step children grandchildren and siblings.

Cache deputy nets second burglary arrest in two days
Logan area deputy arresting Keith H Pitcher 20 of Cornish at a Lewiston pool hall around 3 00 a m after officers found him hiding beneath a restroom floor. He had about 160 dollars in quarters and most money came from the pool hall. Earlier that night Lewis ton Junior High was burglarized. Deputy Miller notes footprints into the restroom and that he warned those inside he was armed. Deputy Miller a former Bear Lake deputy sheriff, helped make the capture.
