Mary Ann Hunt Dies in Logan After Lingering Illness
Mary E. Hunt former St. Charles resident died in a Logan hospital early Saturday after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held in Logan and at St Charles with burial in the St Charles cemetery. She was born in England in 1868 and moved to the United States about 1902. She married John A. Hunt Jr in 1907 and he died in 1928. Surviving are a son Nephi Hunt and two daughters Elizabeth Cotton and Mrs Winifred Johnson, plus four grandchildren, two sisters in England, and numerous nieces and nephews. She contributed to temple and church work and helped establish Scout camps at Lakota and Bear Lake.

Mondas Wallentine Weds Henry Lewellen in Ogden
Mr and Mrs Leo Wallentine announce the marriage of their daughter Mondas to Henry M Lewellen of Columbus Indiana. The ceremony was Monday November 10 at 9 30 p m at Bishop Checketts home in Ogden Utah with a few friends present. The bride is a Fielding High School graduate and has worked in Ogden. the groom served in the Navy and is now stationed at Hill Field. They plan to live in Ogden.

Former Paris Woman Dies in Logan Last Week
Mrs Ethel Davis Humphreys 68 died at her Logan home Wednesday morning of last week. Born August 2 1879 she was the first white child born in San Juan. She was an active LDS worker in Primary Relief Society and Logan Temple. Surviving are eight children and 25 grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Logan with burial at Thayne Wyoming.

Quincey Welker Dies at Montpelier Home
Quincey E. Welker 62 died November 2 at his Montpelier home after a long illness. Born January 28 1885 in Stafford Arizona he moved with his parents to Bloomington at eight. He married Mary E Vallentine March 1 1911 in Paris. He worked 11 years for Anaconda Copper in Conda. He lived in Montpelier since 1934 and was a member of the LDS church. Surviving are his widow three daughters two sons a sister and four brothers and ten grandchildren. Funeral was held at 2 pm last Thursday in the Montpelier 2nd Ward chapel with burial in Bloomington cemetery.

Reserves May Volunteer For War Dead Ceremonies

Salt Lake City police and fire crews found Mr E Smith Sutton 65 and his daughter Norma 17 dead from carbon monoxide in their Salt Lake City home after a broken heating plant connection allowed fumes to fill the residence. Mrs Sutton 50 survived, revived by rescue crews.
