Tragic Farm Road Death Near Paris Claims Child
Ruth Kulicke aged 9, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Kulicke, on a farm near the Lanark road northeast of Paris, was struck by an automobile while returning from Paris school and died four and a half hours later. Funeral services were held for Charles Wyler, 59, a longtime Paris resident.

Graveside Rites on Armistice Day for DeVerl Stevens
Armistice Day services were held in Montpelier for Private First Class DeVerl F Stevens who died December 16 1944 in the Battle of the Bulge. The service was led by Bishop Alvin Tueller with American Legion Post 63 members. Stevens is survived by his parents a daughter two sisters and a brother. The funeral included prayers songs a talk and military honors with pallbearers color guards and a firing squad. Matthews Mortuary handled arrangements.

Former Geneva Lady Dies in Salt Lake City
Mrs Mary Jean Bischoff Gothard aged 24 died Saturday at her Salt Lake City home of a heart ailment. Born in Geneva April 11 1923 she moved to Salt Lake in 1943 married John H Gothard in 1944. She was active in the LDS Relief Society. Survivors include her husband four sons her mother two sisters six brothers and many relatives. Funeral and burial were in Geneva.

The group, known as County Local, allied with the Idaho Educational Association and National Educational Association, elected Ralph Roghaar as president Elaine Dunford as vice president Mabel S Athay as secretary and treasurer. Delegates to the state convention were Roghaar and Robert Clayton. Speakers Roghaar and County Superintendent W E Clark discussed NEA/N.E.A affiliations and certification topics. Utah Power & Light Company will provide free electric energy to illuminate Christmas lights on city town streets and parks where distribution capacity exists.
