Juniors Sweep Class B Basketball Series At Fielding High

Car Fire Injures Otto Bucher in Montpelier Route
Otto Bucher suffered severe burns to his arms and hands when his Studebaker caught fire while traveling from Cokeville to Montpelier. The blaze started at the rear, damaged the top and windows, ruined the spare tire, and was insured. He was taken to Montpelier Hospital for treatment.

Downing Takes Judge's Oath in Fifth District
Jay L. Downing was sworn in as associate justice of the Fifth Judicial District last Thursday after presenting to Judge R. M. Terrell. Lillian A. Spongberg, Bannock County clerk, administered the oath. C. G. Vaughan, under Judge O. R. Baum, was reappointed to that office by the new judge. Armistice Day Holiday observed with public buildings closed including the state capitol. Governor Baldridge urges two minutes of silence at 11 a.m.
