Girl Struck by Car on Highway Dies in Paris
Ruth Kulcki nine year old daughter of Mr and Mrs William Kulcki of a farm near the Lanark road northeast of Paris died the same evening after being struck by a car driven by Heber C Keetch of St Charles as she attempted to cross the road after riding home from school. She sustained a skull fracture and crushed chest despite prompt hospital care in Paris. An inquest was held over the body that afternoon.

Bear Lake Turkey Growers Form Cooperative
On Saturday more than sixty Bear Lake County turkey growers met at the city hall to organize a cooperative marketing pool. Thirty six growers signed contracts and the committee for sales, administration and disposal was elected. Over twelve hundred turkeys were contracted with the pool expected to reach two to three times that number. Contracts may be signed until November 26 at the County Agricultural Agent’s Office in Paris Idaho.

Mr and Mrs C H Waters of Olympia Wash with Fred Irwin of the Keystone Phosphate Co and Mrs Nell Fisher secretary returned from Salt Lake City with estimates on machinery for a phosphate mill mixing and powder plant to be installed by Paris. Waters accepts general management of Keystone and will return to Paris within three weeks to assume active leadership. They plan a complete mill for grinding phosphate for direct soil application and a mixing plant at Paris. Irwin says enough business has been obtained to keep the plant operating day and night. Waters, a mining engineer, perfected the Rex Safety Powder and owns the formula.

He lived in the city since 1886 and was survived by his wife Louise Jonley and ten of twelve children.
