Speed Boat Notables Visit at Hot Springs Sunday
Los Angeles visitors Donnie Hollis, age 15 and 1946 national speed boat midget champion, Archie Rust, former Bear Lake operator, and Prof Howard Allen, a speed boat designer, stopped at Bear Lake Hot Springs Sunday night. They head to Albany for a 150 mile marathon race. Allen plans a six boat Centennial Speed Boat entry at Ogden July 4 and 6.

The Sixth Army expands a broad training program at Fort Ord and Presidio Monterey to develop leaders clerks cooks medical technicians and specialists. In Oregon tests seven men wore shirts of different colors with black drawing more mosquitoes than white or yellow.
