Commencement for county eighth graders will be held Friday afternoon May 16 at 2 o'clock in the Bear Lake Tabernacle at Paris. The program features graduates from Paris Montpelier Liberty Dingle St. Charles Bloomington and surrounding areas with diplomas presented by Supt. Weldon Grandy. Three Men Fined for Local Chicken Theft
One local man and two other men were arrested this week by Marshall Allred and charged with chicken theft. They pleaded guilty before Police Judge W Smith Hoge and received six month suspended jail sentences, fines of twenty dollars each, and twenty dollars in damages.

Samuel Weston 82 a prominent Church of Jesus Christ member from Garden City Rich County Utah and Logan died at his Logan home after a year of ill health. Born January 27 1865 in Wooley England he came to Utah in 1870 settling in Laketown. He served a British mission 1891 1893 was Garden City bishop 14 years and later worked 37 years at the Logan temple. Surviving widow and twin sister Mary Crowther of Malad Idaho. Funeral services held Monday at Logan tabernacle.

Seminary students will graduate forty two at Sunday evening exercises in the tabernacle. Funeral Services Today for Bloomington Infant Anna Lee Carver
Funeral services are set for 2 PM today in the Bloomington ward chapel for eight month old Anna Lee Carver daughter of Mr and Mrs Hiwin Carver. She died Monday from pneumonia two days after illness began. Mrs Carver is formerly Mary Parker of Bloomington.
