Relief Societies Plant Trees for George Washington Birthday

Bear Lake Stake Relief Society marks the 200th anniversary of George Washington by planting White birch trees in a triangular formation in the park south of the tabernacle. Moroni Pugmire Called Home in St Charles Rites

Funeral rites for Moroni Pugmire longtime St Charles resident who died last Friday at Montpelier hospital were held Tuesday in the ward chapel. Interment followed in St Charles cemetery. The service featured ward choir renditions and speakers Bishop J W Linford Wm Keetch Pres Ed C Rich Roy A Welker M D Low and Bishop Ernest Alfred. Survivors include his widow and children Mrs Norms Payne Oral and Gwen, plus sisters and many brothers.

Memorial Day Observance Planned by City and Legion

Missionary Milford Rogers Returns From New Zealand

Milford Rogers son of Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers arrived home after a three years absence from missionary work for the L D S church in New Zealand. He recounted being in Gisborne during the February earthquake and later in Napier as tremors and quake incidents were felt. He now runs Rogers Barber Shop in Browning building with his brother Franklin.
