Baum and Black form new law partnership in Pocatello

The Post announces the creation of the law firm of O. R. Baum and Roy L. Black, two Bear Lake county attorneys with prominent careers. Baum served as judge of the fifth judicial district 1919–1927 and later practiced in Pocatello. Black was Idaho attorney general 1919–1922 and practiced in Coeur d Alene and Pocatello.

Doak appoints Boise man to Idaho state post

C. E. Macey of Boise is appointed assistant state commissioner of labor for Idaho by Secretary Doak. A longtime political figure, he previously led Public Welfare and served under David Burrell, with prior work at Atlanta Federal Penitentiary and as secretary of the Republican State Central committee.

Idaho Sets 3.5 Million Highway Contracts This Year

Idaho state contracts total 3.5 million for highways and bridges this year, with nearly half the highway budget committed.
