Kunz Sets Bear River Position on Water Negotiations
Ferris M. Kunz of Montpelier, chair of the Bear River Negotiating Committee, says all Bear River waters are fully appropriated but substantial unconsumed flow exists to the Great Salt Lake. He confirms no binding formula has been set by the Idaho Water Resource Board and that negotiations will focus on total unconsumed flow rather than Idaho’s 300,000 acre feet contribution.
