David Athay Former Paris Man Dies in Salt Lake
David Athay 67 of Salt Lake City died Sunday at 3 p m at home after a heart attack. Born December 21 1879 in Paris he moved to Salt Lake in 1909 and worked as an adjuster for the Utah state welfare bureau. He served a LDS mission in England and held church roles in Salt Lake City. He is survived by his widow Jane Blair Athay a son James Blair Athay a brother two sisters and a sister in Ogden. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 260 East South Temple. Burial followed in Logan cemetery.

Mary Ann Watson Lynn longtime Laketown resident died at Huntington Memorial Hospital Pasadena California from heart decomposition. Funeral held May 31 at Pasadena LDS chapel with burial in Pasadena cemetery. Survived by husband Elbert Lynn daughter Denetee Zimmerman Janet two sisters Sarah Myers Laketown and Clara Toone Pasadena. Born January 4 1883 in Laketown she once ran a confectionery with her sister Clara and served as postmistress. Married February 1920, the Lynns lived in Montpelier before moving to Pasadena in 1922 and remained there until death.
