Wage program explained by WFA officials

Reports from the Idaho WFA Wage Board indicate many are unclear on the farm wage stabilization program. George L. Jensen, area supervisor for southeastern Idaho, outlines two methods: General Regulations for all agricultural labor and Specific Wage Ceilings for particular crops or areas after ceilings are set. The board must approve wage increases above 200 dollars a month or equivalent, and only after hearings and producer requests can ceilings be adjusted for hardship. Jensen invites inquiries at 207 Federal Building, Idaho Falls, covering Bear Lake to Teton counties.
