Fishing grounds close July 15 in Custer County streams
The fish and game department announces July 15 closures effective at 10 p m on many streams in Custer County including Sulphur Creek Bear Valley Elk Creek Marsh Creek and main Salmon River tributaries Upstream sections from various landmarks will be closed to fishing until September 15 with reopening by October 31 All closures apply to Trout season and cover West Fork and Upper Main Salmon tributaries plus Yan Fork and Capehorn Creek and related forks.
