Memorial Rites Held for Jane Stewart Monson at St Charles

Jane Stewart Monson of St Charles Idaho died after a long illness. She was born to John Calvin and Jane Taylor Stewart and married Amos Henry Monson in Salt Lake City in 1908. She served in church roles including Primary librarian Sunday School teacher and Relief Society secretary and president. Survived by husband Amos, daughter Jane Daniels, three grandsons and extended family. Funeral services conducted at the Terres Ward Chapel with remarks from church leaders and graveside tributes followed by arrangements by Matthews Mortuary in Taylor.

St Charles Ward Bishopric Reorganized

The St Charles Ward Bishopric was reorganized with Lothai 8B Rich as Bishop and Lovell Booth and Alvinus Arnell as counselors. Retiring were Arlin R. Pugmire and LeRoy Hirschi after years of service. Various local visits and events noted including a Paris ward chapel completion celebration and community gatherings.

Funeral Services for Alvin Peterson

Funeral services for Alvin C Peterson were held Thursday in the St. Charles ward chapel with choir, prayers, and speakers including Bp. Arlin R. Pugmire Elijah Clark and Pres. Burdette Pugmire. The grave was dedicated by Thomas Jones. Pallbearers included Emmitt Monsen Roy Cochran Cloyd and Luke Valentine Robert Minor and Jack Taylor.

Weston Coria Couple Wed in Logan Temple Ceremony

Morrell Weston and Lucille Cornia Morrella were married July 5 in the Logan Temple. The ceremony was conducted by Joseph Davies. A dinner followed at the Bluebird and the couple plans a short honeymoon to Yellowstone Park before making Laketown their home.
