Towns Second Oldest Mant Dies Funeral Conducted Monday
George Elmer Wilcox 91, Paris native and former Paris City Marshal, died June 27 in Salt Lake City. Born October 20, 1876, he lived in Paris most of his life and worked in Bear Lake regions. Funeral services were held Monday at the Paris LDS Wards Chapel with interment in Paris City Cemetery.

Two Injured In Crash Near Noonan
James Mattson of St. Charles and Harry Gay of Fish Haven were taken to Bear Lake Memorial Hospital after a two car collision 13 miles north of Georgetown on Noonan Road at 1 30 p m on a narrow curve. Harris of Grace drove a 4 wheel drive pickup. Road width was 13 feet. Mattson suffered a broken ankle and cuts. Harris was uninjured.
