Magrath Canada January 7 funeral services held January 4 for George Clifton 89 longtime Paris Idaho pioneer who moved to Magrath in infancy He died December 30 awaiting word from his son William a railroad man in Nampa Idaho Clifton born October 21 1854 in Crowe Ye England sailed at age nine to America then Utah where he lived in Willard for a winter He helped settle Bear Lake and Tahoe territory and married Alice Marinda Nate March 19 1860 at Paris Idaho They had 31 children nine survive his sister Mrs Sarah Shepherd of Paris also noted as kin.

Funeral services were held in Randolph Utah for John Jack Nicholla who died January 9 at home. He was born August 23 1874 in Randolph and lived there most of his life.
