Potassium Fertilizer Plant To Be Built This Spring
The California Potassium Phosphate Co plans a 20 000 ton capacity fertilizer plant this spring near the loading station beside Continental Oil tanks. C B Hayes managing director and Ralph King secretary, with their wives, arrived from Los Angeles to settle here. The plant will be built in units on a large land area with kilns crushers and drying plants and storage rooms. Coal will be used as fuel rather than oil. Company officers Mendeville and Skinner are due within two weeks to finalize mill plans. Offices have been opened in the Browning building.
