James Albert Payne 86 Bloomington resident dies at home
James Albert Payne age 86 of Bloomington died Tuesday morning at his son's residence from causes incident to old age. Born December 13, 1876 in Bloomington he was the son of Samuel and Emily Payne. He married Sylvia Slight in the Salt Lake LDS temple June 6 1913. Survived by son Russell of Bloomington two daughters Anilda Thornock Pratt Utah and Clara Pitts Butte Montana 14 grandchildren one great grandchild five brothers and one sister Services will be held Friday at 1 pm in Bloomington Ward Chapel under Bishop Paul Haddock with Matthews Mortuary Montpelier directing Friends may visit the Payne home until service time.

Paris Lions Host Randolph Club On Ladies Night
The Paris Lions club hosted the newly formed Randolph Lions club at Camp Lifton Monday night. Ten couples from Randolph attended, plus guests Conrad Sanders from Bancroft Lions and Supervisor T W Koskella and Mrs Koskella. Koskella showed forest service color slides and spoke on the mountain forest program, with Lyle Taggert performing an amusing skit. In all, 54 members, wives and guests attended.
