Wm. S. Lauritzen chairs the Bear Lake district Boy Scout campaign. A meeting at the Paria Hotel last Friday set plans for a drive starting Thursday December 18 and ending Saturday night. Team captains include Ivan Beck William Stell Russell Rehay Ronald Parker and W Smith Hoge. Lauritzen will meet captains and their teams at noon Thursday for dinner and a kick off meeting to distribute materials and outline current needs.

Sandpoint Idaho announces a world record rainbow trout weighing 31 pounds caught by Ho Wi Dreisbach of Sandpoint on October 16 at Garfield Bay Pend Oreille Lake.
